There’s already not a shortage of excitement this NHL offseason. Following the Florida Panthers’ second Stanley Cup Championship and the seemingly never-ending celebration, the annual period for roster revisions has begun.
The 2025 NHL Draft included 224 prospects finding new homes, with deals for Noah Dobson, Charlie Coyle and John Gibson over the weekend. On Monday, numerous re-signatures and Mitch Marner’s trade removed some celebrities from the free agent bigboard.

British Columbia’s salmon arm, Native Curtis Lazer, has returned to western Canada and has been signed for a one-year, $775,000 contract and one-year contract.
Veteran winger Anthony Mantha played rounds in a recent season, with his next NHL home in Pittsburgh, with a one-year $2.5 million deal.

After a brief mission with the US-based team, Andrew Mangiapan is back in western Canada and has signed a two-year, $3.6 million AAV deal with the Oilers.

The stars are on the board. Hours after announcing the official employment of Glen Gultsang as the club’s new head coach, the star moved Radek Faksa forward on a two-year, $3 million AAV deal.
Earlier on Tuesday, the King lost defensive man Vladislav Gabrikov to the Rangers. To fill that blue line gap, they signed Codycesi (4-year, $4.5 million AAV) and Brian Dumoulin (3-year, $4 million AAV). They also signed goaltender Anton Forsberg for two years to a $2.25 million AAV.
