San Antonio police officers beg the man to drop a knife after climbing from the crashed car

A Texas police officer begged and begged the man to drop the knife… she said she didn’t want to shoot him – and at that moment she was captured by miserable body cam footage.
The video released Saturday captured a shooting involving officials from February… and arrived at a park where a San Antonio police officer climbed from a car that hit the lake.
It is unclear exactly how the car turned to the lake…but the man was later identified as 30-year-old Chase Deckard Thomas – who almost jumps out of the car in question.

In the clip, the officer asks the man if he’s okay… Before he notices, he finds that he has something in his pocket that looks like a knife and pulls out her gun.
The officer repeatedly asks him to drop the knife – screaming at the top of her lungs that she doesn’t want to shoot him. But Deckard Thomas continues to come… and in the end she shoots him.
Local reports say the man was taken to a local hospital where he was treated for a life-threatening injury. He survived and was charged with aggravated assault on a police officer.
I contacted the local government for more details… so far, there are no words.
