“The Nigerians help me. Yomi Fabiy and Sam Jojo took my son. I don’t know where they were taking him. I told him to take him away, but he didn’t do anything to them.
Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiy revealed why Mobado’s younger brother, Adula, was arrested on Wednesday.
The Premium Times accused Fabiy of obtaining a virus video of Mobado’s mother Abeosde Olmy and accusing him of coordinating his son’s atonement on the grounds of the Ogba Magistrates’ Court in Lagos.
She allegedly believed the unidentified man was a police officer and called on Nigerians for help to secure his release.

She said Fabiy played a role in the arrest and claimed that he was innocent of allegations the actor made against him.
However, Fabiyi dismissed the allegations in a statement sent to the newspaper on Thursday, signed by his foundation Break the Silence Public Relations Officer (Pro) Gloria Ladeji, saying that the allegations were baseless popularity and a loss of honor.
He said the allegations were an attempt to mislead the public, obstruct police investigations and hamper the pursuit of justice.
Fabiyi said:
“They were called multiple times, and the duo of Adura Aloba and Damola Ayinde Habeeb remained indifferent to the invitation. Meanwhile, Damilare Ibrahim Koleosho had some jokes via WhatsApp Chat with the police officer (IPO) investigating why he never respects the invitation.
Arrest
The actor further revealed that police arrested Adula after securing an arrest warrant issued by the court.
He emphasized that the arrest followed legitimate legal proceedings.
“Zone Headquarters police approached the courthouse, obtained an arrest warrant and ambushed outside the courthouse on Wednesday to pick them up.

“This was done professionally without moving to the court or anywhere within its premises. Adora Aroba used the court as a shield for several hours. He ultimately gave in and when he was arrested, Adora’s mother and lawyer, who were with him, was once again told his destination and allowed to drive behind the police vehicle.”
He urged the public to ignore Mobado’s mother’s claims, saying his legal team would pursue legal action against Mrs. Olmy in court.
background
Since Mobado passed away on September 12, 2023, his family has been caught up in controversy.
Important of these is the conflict over the fatherhood of his son, Liam, ownership of his assets, and the battle over his final resting place.
The former Maryan music signer died under mysterious circumstances, causing allegations against his former label boss Naira Marley, music promoter Sam Larry, childhood friend Prime Boy and former manager.
Authorities arrested the accused on charges of bullying and harassment, but they were later released on bail in November 2023.
On February 26, Yaba Magistrates Court dismissed the direct link between them and Mobado’s death.
However, the Lagos State Prosecutor’s Office (DPP) ruled that the auxiliary nurses who treated him, Feisayo Ogegenbe and Asobami Sadiq, would be indicted.
The DPP said both individuals will face accusations of reckless and negligent conduct under section 251(e) of the Lagos State Criminal Code, 2015.
