The Israeli Supreme Court has issued an injunction to prevent the national security chief from being fired by Benjamin Netanyahu.

The Israeli Cabinet officially approved the early layoff of Lornenber on Thursday night after failing to predict the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023.

Prime Minister Netanyahu said in a video statement last week that he intends to fire Barr, citing “continuous mistrust” between the two “who have grown over time.”

On Friday, the Supreme Court frozen dismissals until April 8th, when a hearing was heard on the issue, according to documents cited in Israeli media.

Ronen Bar was appointed for five years in October 2021 as Chief of Israel’s national intelligence reporting agency, Shin Bet.

His looting is likely the first time the government has fired a Singh Bett leader in Israel’s history.

Netanyahu’s plan to dismiss him sparked rage and even more inflamed anti-government demonstrations in Jerusalem, with thousands of Israelis joining forces with protesters opposed Israel’s new attacks on Gaza.

A letter sent by Netanyahu to members of his government prior to Thursday’s meeting, referring to “permanent loss of professional and personal trust” between the prime minister and bar, suggesting that his term end on April 20.

“Beyond the operational failure of October 7th, the loss of professional trust was integrated during the war. [2023]and, particularly in recent months, he said, referring to Hamas’ attacks on Israel that sparked the Israel-Gaza War.

Sinbet is Israel’s national intelligence agency and plays an important role in the war. Its activities and membership are the secrets of the state that are closely held.

But Barr characterizes his decision to remove him as politically motivated.

The Israeli Times said he did not attend the Cabinet vote, but sent a letter saying that firing him was “completely contaminated by a conflict of interest” as Singh Bett is investigating the prime minister’s office over allegations of “Qatar’s involvement in the heart of Israel’s decision-making.”

Attorney General Gali Baharav-Miara ordered police and Shin to investigate officials in Netanyahu’s office on alleged financial ties with Qatar. GAG orders were then issued for all information related to the investigation. Netanyahu’s Likud Party has denied all allegations.

Baharav -Miara – critics of Netanyahu’s voices facing the firing process – argued that bars could not be fired until the legality of the move was assessed.

The quality government movement of Israel, an NGO, said it had launched an appeal against an illegal decision. […] poses real risk to national security.”

Yesh Atid, the central right party led by Yair Lapid, said he had made appeals on behalf of several opposition parties, and condemned the looting as “a decision made by the prime minister due to a blatant conflict of interest.”

Israel began a war in Gaza after Hamas invaded southern Israel on October 7, 2023, killing about 1,200 people and taking 251 hostages.

More than 48,500 Palestinians have been killed in the conflict, Hamas Ran, Ministry of Health said.

Israel ended its months-long ceasefire earlier this week and resumed its attack on Gaza. More than 400 people were killed on the first night of the bombing, according to the Ministry of Health.

A large crowd of Israelis protested the bar over the resumption of the war and Netanyahu’s move.

Israel and Hamas disagreed with a way to adopt a ceasefire beyond the first stage, as negotiations were expected to begin six weeks ago.

Hamas did not agree to renegotiate a ceasefire against Israeli terms, but offered to free the living Americans (and the four bodies) in order to expand the current arrangement.

Israel blocked all food, fuel and medical supplies that entered Gaza at the beginning of March to put pressure on Hamas.
