Remember when Cynthia Eribo threw a “evil” shade at her fellow auditions? Well, that side eye might have been targeting Amanda Seyfried!

It appears that Amanda indirectly spilled tea this week on the “Happy Sad Confused” podcast – we already knew she auditioned for the role of Glinda, but here’s the kicker – she says she actually sang with Cynthia before Ariana Grande won the role.
A cool moment for Amanda certainly — but let’s rewind to November when Cynthia said in the New York Times that Ariana lands the role isn’t a shocker.

Cynthia never named the two actresses she auditioned, but Amanda appears to have been one of them, based on Amanda’s new comments about the audition process.
That said, Amanda either missed the shade or doesn’t seem to have caught up yet.
Amanda also admitted that everything happens for a reason – and TBH, she may be right… especially considering how tight Cynthia and Ariana have become during the “evil” filming.
