Harvey Weinstein banned Life for Life from Vanity Fair Oscars Party… Excuse me to staff, ex-Eic!!!
Released on March 23, 2025 at 2:22pm PDT
Harvey Weinstein is the only celebrity banned from the Vanity Fair Oscars Party because he was rude to the staff and brought too many guests… This is according to the magazine’s former editor-in-chief.
EIC-Graydon Carter from Vanity Fair from 1992 to 2017 is releasing a new memoir next week entitled “When The Going Was Good.”
According to Page 6, Carter says the party he started in 1994 was designed to attract as many Oscar winners as possible… But Weinstein was the only person who was banned from the Bash for bad behavior.
Carter claims Weinstein “is showing up regularly with more guests and bullying staff than the invitations show.”
The GC added that Weinstein’s initial ban was lifted… but the organizers left him another after refusing to change his path.
You know, HW has been convicted of rape and sexual assault in the last few years…but this seems not to be the cause of his suspected ban, according to Carter.
Apparently, staff had the opportunity to nominate celebrities for banning them from the event… And according to Carter, the nominated person was Courtney Love.
“When Going Was Good” is scheduled to be released on Tuesday…and I feel that this Weinstein story is just the tip of the iceberg of celebrity stories.
We have reached out to Weinstein and loved the book’s claims… so far, there are no words.
