Birmingham, Ala. — Notre Dame Guard Olivia Miles is projected as Seattle Storm’s No. 2 pick in ESPN’s latest WNBA mock draft, saying it’s still undecided whether she will be in the draft after the Irishman lost to TCU on Saturday.
She is draft-qualified, but she still has a season of college eligibility left.
“I’m still thinking about what I want to do, but I’m leaning towards the draft,” Miles said in the locker room at Notre Dame after the game. “But tomorrow I might wake up and be like, ‘I want to go back’. So it changes it every day.
“W… volatility is up and down. So I don’t know. I’m determined between a lot of factors.”

The 5-foot-10 mile received 10 points, three assists and two rebounds for the Irishman in a 71-62 loss. She played 23 minutes on Saturday, but admitted that ankle injuries that she struggled in the first round of the NCAA Tournament are difficult to play.
“My ankles hurt so much,” Miles said. “But I had to push away. I’m starting to play with my girls. This season is over.”
Mile is draft-qualified as she is already 22 years old in college for four seasons. Miles returned from that injury to start all 34 games this season, averaging 15.4 points, 5.8 assists and 5.6 rebounds.
She said the idea of playing quickly in the WNBA season, which starts on May 16, is a bit daunting as it can be used to rest and recover more with the summer. However, she said factors alone would not shake her decision.
Especially since she projects it as a lottery pick. The UConn Guard Paige Bueckers is the No. 1 selection expected by Dallas Wings. After Seattle, Washington has 3 and 4 picks.
“[Potentially being] There are many things to give up on lottery picks. I worked so hard to do that,” Miles said. I have to trust myself no matter what decisions I make. Both decisions are good for me. You need to make some calls and talk to some people. But I am prepared for a decision and am confident. ”
