Kylie Jenner and Jennifer Lopez were among many guests who paid tribute to hairstylist Jesus Guerrero at the funeral… TMZ learned.
Sources with direct knowledge include TMZ … Jenner and Lopez attended the funeral service of longtime stylists in their hometown of Houston on Sunday. It is said that Jesus’ family and many friends from the Gram community also participated.
Jesus was known for having a close relationship with Katy Perry… and although she was unable to attend the service as she is currently rehearsing for her upcoming tour, we are said to be in touch with his family.
Katie posted about Jesus a few weeks after he passed away… calling him a warm and welcoming presence.
We broke the story… Kylie worked personally with Jesus’ family and helped cover funeral costs and other expenses. Kylie also admitted that he would struggle to sleep after he passed away.
And the source told us that Jesus was complaining of the chills and hot flashes that led to his unexpected death in February, losing 20 pounds.
Guerrero’s sister, Gris, told Weekly that Kylie and J. Law were extremely elegant and contacted the family directly after Jesus’ death. Kylie reportedly said he would do anything to maintain and respect Jesus’ memory. Gris told the outlet he was “thank” to Lopez for everything she did for her brother.
Jesus was 34 years old.
