The signed and engraved Bible by Robert Kardashian sold at auction for a whopping price of the Bible given to Oak Simpson as a token of friendship Kim Kardashian wanted to pay $15K… TMZ confirmed.
Malcolm Lavergne, OJ’s Real Estate Special Manager, tells TMZ that the former lawyer’s Bible was sold at auction for $80,276. He says he doesn’t know who the lucky buyer is, but he points out that it’s clear that “his legacy will endure” whether you love or hate OJ.
The real estate auction led to an estimated $300,000 in sales. Other items sold included a privately signed framed photograph of OJ and former President Bill Clinton. Also, a replica of OJ’s 1968 Heisman Trophy was sold for $42,700.
We broke the story… Kim Kardashian’s team reached out and offered $15K for the Bible…and asked about other objects that might belong to Robert, but the real estate had no choice but to turn down KK’s offer.
Labergne says he’s willing to work with OJ creditors, including Ron Goldman’s father, who has made tens of millions of dollars in the illegal death suit against the former NFL star.
As you know, OJ was found not guilty by a Los Angeles ju judge in the 1994 murder of Goldman and Simpong’s ex-wife Nicole. However, OJ was liable for the murder of a civil suit in 1997 and was ordered by a judge to pay the victim’s family $33.5 million.
As we reported… After OJ passed away last year, Lavergne revealed that he wanted to sell Simpson’s personal items to help pay creditors who have been seeking money since his death.
