The previous NYSC DG was accused of an unspecified number of people on February 6th.
Maharazu Tsiga, former Director of National Youth Service Corps (NYSC), has regained freedom from bandits.
The family of Suleiman Tsuga, a family of Brigadier Generals, confirmed this to the Nigerian News Agency (NAN) in Katina on Wednesday.
Suleiman said the former DG released on Wednesday is in good condition but is being seen by a doctor in a private location.
Nan reports that Tsuga was accused of an unspecified number of people on February 6 at his residence in Ziga, the Bakoli Municipal Area of Kachina.
The suspect reportedly demanded N250 million for his release, but later reduced that to N50 million.
However, the source did not disclose if the ransom was paid before he was released.
