“I’m really excited. It took a lot of bias, but the goal is the goal,” Walsh said afterwards.
“All the girls are so happy for me. It feels really good. Finally we finally got it. Some of them remind us how long it took, but I’m over the moon.
“It’s there as one of my favorite games. In general, we played a lot of good offensive football, with team performances.
Walsh was not the only one to experience the joys of his first England goal as Chelsea teammate Bieber came out of the bench to score.
The 21-year-old forward maiden’s goal was his fourth appearance last May, when he received his first call.
