Former Minnesota Viking star Anthony Barr – who thinks he actually came up with the concept of “Tush Push” says the NFL should never ban the controversial quarterback sneak play.
The former linebacker, once captured by a hot mic, had hinted that the team would implement the brothers a few years before the Philadelphia Eagles became famous, but this week he told TMZ Sports at LAX that if Roger Goodell and the company banned it from the game, it could have a fierce outcome for the league.

“It’s a slippery slope,” he told us. “You ban one play and what’s next?”
According to ESPN, 16 teams voted at the NFL annual league meeting in Florida this week, repealing plays. For a while, it seemed like it could actually be a banned move, but the NFL decided to vote on the issue until later due to all the complexities involved.
Barr reveals that he likes to keep it… if they want it from the game, they simply beg for the defense to “find a way to stop it.”
For now, the play lives on… But the bar, who last played in the NFL during the 2023 season, may be on the blackboard thinking about ways to ease it one day – he said he’s interested in getting into coaching!
