There’s everything between the Pittsburgh pirates and Roberto Clemente’s family after the baseball legend’s tribute was inexplicably removed from the padding of the outfield wall at PNC Park… Roberto Clemente Jr. tells TMZ Sports that he hashed things on Monday.
The Pirates raised considerable controversy when the No. 21 logo was sacrificed to the late MVP, which was replaced by cocktail company ads over the weekend, when fans, and Roberto Jr. himself, expressed shock at the move.

“[He’s] I think we had a very good conversation with the people I respect. I think he’s on a really good trajectory to continue this collaboration, even before he enters his position. ”

As for all the drama… Roberto Jr., simply put – “Family has misunderstandings from time to time.”
“We are family and we really believe things happen. We are all human. We make mistakes. The mistakes are a huge indication of how fans feel about Clemente and I’m sure something has learned.”
