HRCU has been named a recipient of the Diamond Award
ROCHESTER – The Holy Rosario Credit Union was one of 180 credit unions nationwide to be named recipients of the American Credit Union’s prestigious 2025 Diamond Award. HRCU was recognized in three categories: logo, multifacet (for the Greenland branch of HRCU), and new corporate identity. Neighborhood Credit Union has also been named “best of category” in the rebrand/new corporate identity category.

Cinco’s Cantina will donate $60,000 to the community
ROCHESTER – Cinco’s Cantina, a local family-run Mexican restaurant with locations in Rochester, Dover and Epping, has announced a new process of improvements to the Fiesta fundraising initiative to streamline participation and make a greater impact on the most important community organizations. Since its inception, Cinco cantina has donated more than $60,000 to the community.
The Fiesta Fundraiser program invites nonprofits and youth groups to partner with Cinco’s Cantina for a celebratory fundraising event where 20% of each event’s sales go directly to participating organizations, to partner with Cinco’s Cantina, providing a fun and effective way to raise funds while tying the community.
This comes when the restaurant announces its April lineup of Fiesta fundraisers. Every Tuesday in April, Cinco’s Cantina highlights another local initiative.

Amazing Discovery raises $8,687.53 for the Monarch School in New England
ROCHESTER – Monarch School in New England has announced that it has received a $8,687.53 donation from the fantastic discovery, a non-profit resale boutique in Kittery, Maine. This generous contribution supports the school’s mission to provide personalized education and treatment services to students with special needs.
“We are deeply grateful for the incredible discoveries and the community members who supported us through their purchases and donations,” said Janet Souther, executive director of Monarch School. “This contribution will have a direct impact on students by funding specialized programs that promote independence, communication and life skills.”
Coast receives a $50,000 donation from the Kennebunk Savings Bank Foundation
Dover – Cooperatives for Coast Transport, more commonly known as the Coast, received a $50,000 leadership gift from the Kennebunk Savings Bank Foundation. The funding was given as part of an ongoing capital campaign to help build a new management, operation and maintenance facility in Dover, New Hampshire.
The project will be funded by a combination of local and private sources, including contributions from the federal, state (including CDFA tax credits), and the Kennebunk Savings Bank Foundation. To date, 81% of its estimated cost of an estimated $17.3 million has been raised.
“We are very grateful for the generosity of the Kennebunk Savings Bank Foundation and the recognition of the positive social and economic impact public transport has on the coast,” said Rad Nichols, Executive Director of Coast. “Our new facility is a disregard for the future, and together with moving partners like Kennebunk’s savings, the coast will be able to continue to connect people and communities for more than 40 more years.”
In recognition of their generosity, the main lobby of the new 48,000-square-foot facility will be named in honor of the Kennebunk Savings Bank Foundation.
