Toni Braxton and Birdman were married, for eight months… The honeymoon era seemed pretty rough.
TMZ …According to documents obtained by Toni and Birdman, quietly and very secretly, apparently – the knot was tied on August 8, 2024.
Well, here’s Shocker… we know it’s when they got married.
Yes, yes… I’ve also seen Toni’s filing and lists the August 10th separation date.
A brief summary: The couple holds a secret wedding, two days later – at least Toni says they are out…and headed for divorce.
In the document, Braxton and her lawyers called the marriage “irreparably broken.”
OK, here’s another plot twist. Because, although they appear to be heading for division, Toni rejected the divorce petition in January 2025, and Birdman signed it.
So for now they are still legally husbands and wives. As to whether they are happy to marry… we cannot say.
We reached out to Toni, Birdman and their rep…and everyone’s radio silent for now.
Birdman initially proposed to Toni in February 2018…and soon bought Toni’s vast $1 million engagement rings and several other expensive gems, from expensive watches to vintage earrings.

They split publicly in 2019, and Toni regularly denied rumors of an ongoing relationship between them. She called the marriage whispers “#Fakenews” in a December 2023 social media post, claiming they were just friends.
