Antalya, Turkey – Somali President Hassan Sheikh Mohamud arrived in the city of Antalya in southern Turkey on Friday and attended the fourth Antalya diplomatic forum, his office said.
The three-day event, hosted by the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, brings together national heads, diplomats and policymakers for discussions on global diplomacy and international cooperation.
Mohamud is expected to hold bilateral meetings with several world leaders who are onslang at the forum to discuss ways to strengthen Somalia’s diplomatic and economic ties, his office said in a statement.
He will also give a speech outlined Somali’s foreign policy priorities and efforts to build stronger international partnerships.
The forum has been held every year since 2021.
