What do you know… Tanya Priberisek has been my friend for a long time. We live in a seating area. We are good friends and she does a great job.
The pair have recently had multiple annoying moments. Most notably, when the Albaneseans fought the contract, Pribelesek struck Greens and independent Sen. David Pocock, passing workers’ laws for the new Environmental Protection Agency. Since then, Albanese has promised to place a new EPA on the table when labour comes in again.

Albanese visits foodservice, not a for-profit organization for start voters in Adelaide
Anthony Albanese is currently in the Adelaide elector held by liberals and key labor goals. He is visiting Nonna’s Kuchina, a local nonprofit organization that creates local nonprofits for seniors and people with disabilities.
Labour has pledged $95,000 to businesses on election promises.
Nonna’s boasts 100 volunteers who cook over 56,000 meals each year. Albanese meets workers cooking meals in the kitchen.

Tax reform questions raised that both parties will push costly “sugar blow” policies
Structural tax reform questions challenge both parties who are denounced each other for simply submitting a “sugar hit” policy over the weekend.
While workers’ tax cuts will permanently lower one of the tax ranges, both workers and liberalism have promised more money for temporary living relief for households over the weekend. Meanwhile, the coalition has announced a one-time tax refund for low- and middle-income earners.
On Sky News, Laura Jays asks Nationals leader David Little Proud as the Union considers actual structural reforms and tackle bracket creep.
Well, when we can afford it. But the problem here and now is human sacrifice…
Jayes points out that a deficit is expected for the next decade. LittleProud does not respond and will return to the temporary fuel excise tax that the Union has pledged to implement immediately if the government wins the government.

Albanese lists non-US foreign policy qualifications when Trump’s situation is looming
There’s no way we can escape another question about Trump’s situation and what Australia will do about it.
Albanese says we “live in an age of strategic competition,” but the government is able to revise its ties with China (see Adelaide’s new panda from China) and has developed close ties with other global players.
He says he spoke to wine producers in the suburbs of Adelaide, who export more premium wine to China. Albanese adds:
We have also restored our relationship with ASEAN. Its relationship with the Pacific is extremely important. Our relationship with Indonesia is stronger than ever. And of course, our relationship with India… we can build more into that relationship.

Albanese says that if BID is successful, the COP meeting will be held in Adelaide
Our own Josh Butler asks the Prime Minister about Australia’s bid to host the COP Climate Conference and criticism from the opposition that it would cost billions of dollars.
Albanese says he hasn’t won the bid yet, but he is still committed to hosting.
That’s a ridiculous statement [from Dutton]. The fact is that holding a Climate Change Conference at COP will generate international revenue. It’s an economic boost wherever you are. There will be a bid and will be decided at the Climate Change Conference later this year.
You know, all Pacific leaders remember what my opponent said about my opponent banging water at their doors, and that’s what our reliability in this region really matters, and that’s why this joint bid has overwhelming support from the Pacific.
Albanese added that his government was able to repair Australia’s relations in the Pacific Ocean due to his strong climate change stance. Malinauskas says he is “very grateful” to PM for being chosen because Adelaide could host the event.

PM admits there is a need to do more about accommodation for women who escape domestic violence
Albanese is asked about the need for more emergency facilities for women who flee domestic violence. The Prime Minister said the shortfall is being addressed by Australia’s future housing funds, but acknowledges that there is a greater need.
Australia’s Housing Future Fund… Part of that home was about emergency accommodation for women and children who escape domestic violence. That was what we pointed out when the Greens, the liberals and Senate people kept it every month.
We know we need to do more.
What about other families and households who own a home but need more support to move around? Albanese says there are several programs that fix the affordability of homes.
If we increase our supply, we will help everyone to impact affordability. This will have a full impact whether it is a future Australian fund or a social housing accelerator. Only workers are considering supply and demand.

Albanese pushed why voters should believe their promises for new housing
Albanese says home construction is “occasionally happening” when he challenges the reason the government thinks it can build 100,000 extra homes for first home buyers, in addition to the 1.2m home promised by the workforce for over five years.
The Union is struggling to point out that no new homes have been built so far. The government has taken other newly built homes and homes already built, making them available for social and affordable housing.
Albanese says the townhouse built behind him shows that the plan will work.
They can see behind us. This is what it looks like. This is not theoretical. This is happening behind us now.
Critics of plans like economist Chris Richardson: Albanese says Richardson should look at Adelaide’s construction projects, repeating that workers’ plans will boost housing supply.

Malinauskas: “We need more homes in South Australia.”
SA Premier Peter Marinauskas speaks, another highly popular Labour leader in the state:
He says the policies announced yesterday will help more housing projects come online.
South Australia needs more homes and they need them as quickly as possible.
I am very grateful for the announcement made by the Prime Minister yesterday. Just like what you see here, it will allow you to buy online more quickly in the places where it matters most.
Housing Minister Claire O’Neill says the coalition’s policy will force taxpayers to subsidize homeowners’ mortgages. She also stabs the coalition’s plan to allow first home buyers to access superannuations for deposit payments.
That would create a problem of inequality between generations where we are worried about something very bad. What Peter Dutton wants to promote is that young people across the country will plunder retirements.

Albanese says workers’ housing policy “makes a significant difference in increasing supply.”
Anthony Albanese is up in Adelaide this morning and supports housing policy announced yesterday.
He is with the SA Premier and the suite of Labour MPs and front ventures. On a good measure, he says he is taking part in Adelaide’s new housing development and 100 new townhouses are being built.
These two policies make a big difference in increasing supply, but importantly, they are also important to bring first home buyers, especially young Australians, to their first homes. We will work with state and industry partners to identify such projects here.
Albanese also says the new policy, which includes an increase in tax credits without a $1,000 receipt, will “simplify” the tax system.

Taylor argues that the liberal budget position is “stronger than labor” and promises costs before the election
He was asked back a bit to Angus Taylor for RN’s breakfast. Has his party renounced financial responsibility to chase the vote?
Neither party really outlines how exactly they will pay for these major new commitments worth billions of dollars announced over the weekend. Taylor denied it, claiming that their budget position is superior to the worker position.
It’s definitely not. See, we opposed more than $100 million in labor spending that I think is useless in an era like this…
We announce the costs before the election… Our budget positions will be stronger than our workers.

Albanese visits Adelaide this morning to promote housing promises
Anthony Albanese will visit a residential complex in Adelaide this morning to visit the promise of a campaign launch home for Spruik Labor.
The development, part of the government’s Housing Australia Future Fund Program, features 100 homes. Labour had pointed to this model as an example of the pledge to build 100,000 homes specifically for first home buyers.
Albanese will be joined by Foreign Minister Penny Wong, South Australian Prime Minister Peter Marinauskas, Housing Minister Claire O’Neill, and several local workers.
He will be on tours of the site and a press conference soon. Workers are supported by overnight newspapers showing Albanese in a position to win the election.

Patterson on Neo-Nazi protesters: “No foreign regime has failed patriotism about the worship of one of the great losers of history.”
Patterson is also asked about the neo-Nazis who protest outside his office over the weekend. He says if they were there to threaten him, it’s “I’m not going to work.”
If that’s a threat, then it’s not going to address me… I especially resemble the attempts of these people to portray themselves as patriots. There is nothing patriotic about worshiping the failed foreign regime of one of the great losers of history.
Patterson says he “facing” Nazism, which he “always opposes.”
