Cate Blanchett says he’s not joking about giving up acting after more than 30 years of career progression.
In a recent interview with “The Standard,” the two-time Oscar-winning actress says her family rolls her eyes whenever she comes up with the idea of moving from making a film.
However, Kate insists that she is serious about throwing a towel because there is still so much she wants to do in life. She was also not completely comfortable as a celebrity.
CB says that every time she does a media interview, her quote is drawn in the article, becomes italic and can be heard “really loud.” “I’m not that person,” she adds. Cate also shares that it takes a long time to get used to being photographed.
Additionally, Kate says she always sees herself as someone in the “around things,” adding, “I’m always surprised whenever I belong.” She says she “doesn’t expect to be accepted or welcomed.”
Cate summed it up like this… “I’m happy to spend my whole life and feel uncomfortable.”
As you know… Kate is one of Hollywood’s most famous actors and began her theatrical career in 1992 with a role in David Mamet’s “Oleana.” She later moved into television roles in shows such as “Heartland,” and landed her first feature debut in “Paradise Road” in 1997.
