Bournemouth owner Bill Foley is scheduled to fly to England this week, with the club planning to hold formal consultations with boss Andoni Iraora about the new contract.
Sources close to the club have shown that, apart from last minute changes, American businessman Foley will arrive in time for Saturday’s Premier League match against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Foley will be staying in the UK and officially open a new, state-of-the-art training facility in Bournemouth.
However, Foley’s itinerary will also be discussing with Iraaura managers, where existing deals will expire at the end of the next season.
The 42-year-old Spaniard has been in the Premier League since his appointment in June 2023, hoping to secure his first European qualification.
Iraola took part in a two-year contract before signing a 12-month extension last May.
Cherries sources show that Vitality Stadium is confident that Iraora is fully open to staying with the club despite interest from Tottenham.
Spurs head coach Angekogle is under a lot of pressure due to his poor season in charge of the North London Club.
Iraora is one of the names of interest to Tottenham if he cuts ties with Post-Coglu, but Bournemouth hopes to convince his head coach to commit his future to the club before next season.
