The first round of the 2025 NFL Draft is officially a week away. It appears that the first two picks are set. Miami quarterback Camward and Colorado cornerback/wide receiver Travis Hunter will be in first and second place, respectively. But what about after these two? Where do interesting talents like Tyler Warren, Nick Emanwy and Shemar Stewart go?

NFL Draft Prop Pick
Nick Emmanwori is first selected (+1700, DraftKings)
If you don’t think there was a Kyle Hamilton effect, then if the Ravens stole a Shapeshift, a 3rd-level defender at No. 14 overall, you’re not listening. This is an archetype that other teams crave and doesn’t matter if they’re already set in that position when they bring in athletes like this. Emmanwori can work inside the box as a slot corner, as a hybrid linebacker, and as a free safety. Do you think the 49ers, who have almost alone seen Hamilton send Brock Purdy to the bystanders early in his 2023 blown loss at his Baltimore home, are uninterested? Before Seattle gets on the clock at No. 18, is it definitely the corner is definitely going? There were too many reviewers I really trusted, and I called out to me about emmanwori to ignore this possibility. Someone could also trade up for him.
Tyler Warren will be fifth overall (+2500, dk)
Can the Jaguar new boy persuade new football executive Tony Boseli to give him an extraordinary pass catcher on his administration’s first pick in another attempt to support Trevor Lawrence? Is it really a remote possibility that guarantees odds for a long time? That’s probably all for owner Shad Khan, the guy behind the shocking Blake Boltles pick. This is a selection of top flight players in a rather premium position and can be sold in the top five. It’s far sexier than taking offensive or defensive linemen, though that might be a wiser choice. Warren makes more sense than a running back or wideout on the jug when he’s trying to add a skill player.
Shemale Stewart will be the second download filmed after Abdul Carter (+1100, dk).
Previously, there have been variations in pass rush ratings, and the top rater I trust likes Stewart and isn’t scared by his low sack numbers. A few observers who are really good at this told me they could see Miles Garrett in Stewart. If you think you can get the true quality of starting a defensive tackle in the middle round, can you allow yourself to dream of an edge talent as high as the top 10? I don’t know why I don’t do that. I also considered taking him to go to the top 10.
Tetaroa MacMillan enters the top 10 (+430, fan duel)
The Raiders are a wildcard team for me. Certainly they could go to running back. They have needs for their entire defense at every level. But I have the feeling that Tom Brady is going to do whatever he wants. Geno Smith has no intention of releasing the attack himself, and outside of the Brock Bowers there is no attack for Las Vegas. McMillan has a slightly different mentality and rubbed a few people the wrong way, but I think Brady will be drawn to it. Mostly a small part here, but what I decided was worth a few dollars.
Less than 6.5 OLS drafted in the first round (-200, dk)
I haven’t heard my sources get very excited about this group. And while I think defensive tackles will push the board down as there may be generational depth in that position this year (and it looks like 2026 is there), I run around in the first round on the backend of the first round of the first round and start running with the DTS with the talented first round. At the end of the first round, you can trade out. The Eagles are never embarrassed to load them into their DL, even if they have depth. I just don’t think that teams will reach for offensive linemen given the depth available there, but I think we’ll see DL, DBS and WRS progress in the 20’s with office ladies appearing in many recent drafts.
Offensive players under 15.5 years of age drafted in the first round (-145, DK)
So if we don’t think we’re getting the OL action we normally get, then this WR class doesn’t have the possibility of an upside of the elite No. 1 of the recent draft, as there’s a very high chance that two RBs and two TEs are very high in the first round. It’s also possible that only two quarterbacks will go in the first round, not three times, as they can’t find the exact fit for Jackson Dart (though I think someone is trading to grab him). The overwhelming strength of this draft is on the defensive side of the ball and on the front 7, and we hope this trend will bring it into this selection process after Philadelli went to Patrick Mahomes on the front 7.
