Abby Lee Miller made a statement at Kelly Highland’s Cancer Battle – years after their wild “dance mom” fallout and legal disruption, she reveals it to us… Kelly doesn’t need her support.
A dance instructor tells TMZ that Kelly cannot ring the hospital bell after completing the second round of breast cancer treatment. She was diagnosed in 2023.
Icymi and Abby underwent emergency spinal surgery in April 2018. The doctors compressed the spine, causing unbearable pain and paralysis.
Abby also says Kelly has three wonderful children who are thriving. With a supportive dad and ex-husband – in her eyes, Kelly doesn’t need her support. That said, Abby has no plans to reach out to the Highlands.
Abby, who defeated Cancer in 2019, added that Kelly and her family never reached out in their own fight, but it’s all good, and she still wants Kelly well.
Kelly and her daughters, Brooke and Page, left “Dance Mama” in 2014 after an infamous physical altercation with Abby. And there was a general interaction of zero between them, except for the legal battle that followed immediately after their departure.

Kelly sued Abby twice – once overcoming a brawl during the show’s taping, causing emotional distress again for her daughter. The case was resolved and Collins Entertainment agreed to pay $17,500 to replace the floor of Kelly’s home.
