Colin Kaepernick hasn’t played professional soccer games in nearly a decade, but the former star quarterback continues to train for his NFL comeback…this is according to his longtime partner Nessa Diab.
TMZ Sports caught up with radio and television hosts in New York City this week… when asked about Kap, who remains a free agent, as some NFL teams still don’t have QBs.
Nessa, who had a kid in 2022 for the former 49ers quarterback, hopes that Kap busts his ass in the gym, trains regularly, and gives NFL GM a shot that shows he still has what he needs to lead the football team.
“Every day, every day!” Nessa said of her cup training. “Nothing has changed! Nothing!”
Kaepernick last approached for the NFL team (Las Vegas Raiders) in 2022. The team did not sign Colin. Before that, he was invited to the Seattle Seahawks Training SESH in 2020.
The 37-year-old held training at a high school in Atlanta. There, scouts from seven NFL teams appeared to watch him throw.

Last year, the Cup was offered a job with the Los Angeles Chargers…but not as a player, but as a coach. CK, who worked for former HC Jim Harbaugh, chose to pass the opportunity.
Of course, before his kneeling protests made him arguably the most polarizing player in the league, Kaepernick started the QB in 2013, leading his 49ers team to the Super Bowl.
The Ninars lost to the Ravens.
Kaepernick, who last played in the NFL game in January 2017, threw 72 touchdowns in six seasons as a pro… And Colin still wants to add a few digits to those career stats!
