Paddy Pimblett is away from the most impressive victory of his MMA career…
TMZ Sports came across Los Angeles’ Great Blues Buffer this week. This asked the Octagon’s voice what he was saying to the question a few days after the dominant victory over Iron Mike at UFC 314.
“Paddy definitely has ‘it’. Fighters measure the “it” element every few years. [Paddy] He proved himself because every time he stepped into the octagon he got better. ”
Bruce continued…”[Pimblett’s] I think most people don’t understand how skilled a skilled rice paddy is, as they improve his skills and improve his techniques. But his opponents are getting harder and he is going to move on and he will definitely be his candidate in the end, I think at some point I’m fighting for the championship belt.
For reference, Paddy has been 7-0 since joining the UFC.
Of course, Buffer has seen every UFC superstar, from Chuck Liddell to Conor McGregor, up close.
“It’s not the way you carry yourself just with an octagon. It’s about how you carry yourself outside the octagon. His interviews are exciting. I like to see him being interviewed. He has the personality he acquires to people. He’s building a brand for himself.
Who will be next to the 23-3 30-year-old fighters?
Buffer believes it could be in unknown waters unlike former champion and second-place contender Charles Oliveira…Pinblett.
