John Cena became the first 17-time champion in WWE history after beating Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41… but he didn’t do it alone – he got a bit of an assist from Travis Scott in the process.
The main event fell at Allegianto Stadium in Las Vegas… Senna and Rhodes became brutal to each other as the former appeared to outweigh Rick Flair as the organization’s most decorated wrestler.
During the match, LA Flame appeared and played an important role in pursuing Ref, who took a long walk in the ring to help buddy Cena and attempted to win a Ref.
Scott was also on the receiver of Rhodes’ Cross during the showdown…it made him look unvigorated on the canvas.
Of course, Rhodes had to revenge on Scott to ruin his ears in the elimination chamber earlier this year…but that wasn’t enough to handle the business against Cena.
The two were at war on the title before Cena kicked Rhodes in her crotch… and after he slammed his enemy over his head with it, he managed to pin him and finish the match.
It’s the perfect moment for Cena, 47… he announced he’s retiring after a farewell tour.
