Councilman Nancy Mace has not retreated. In fact, she’s doubled the debate that spread this weekend, despite the internet still being split up into people who have really started drama.
Mace posted to X and “Good morning to everyone except the man who wears Daisy Dukes,” a clear jab for the man who clashed with that virus clip, and he was browsing not only in his small shorts but also in cosmetic stores.
Nancy appeared to be on a bit of a reporter tour, as she promoted her upcoming 77 WABC Radio interview on X. She posted it on a personal account, not an official account. You should be careful…the man in question was not wearing a denim cut-off.

The South Carolina representative said it was all about real men protecting women not harassing everything. However, based on the clips she shared, people seemed a little confused about who the real invaders were.
From its appearance, the man simply asked if he plans to hold more City Hall this year, like last year. But Nancy harasses it and things changed abruptly when she randomly raises a gay marriage, assuming he is gay.
The whole thing escalates quickly – the expletives fly left and right – and many people are calling Nancy to not only have a civil combo with the guy, but also to come out on the attack.
Needless to say, Nancy doesn’t choose the daisies – she’s choosing the fight, and she’s not relaxed at all about fallout!
