Chris Eubank Jr. and Connor Ben will clash at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday. Boxing experts make big fight predictions…
Callum Smith (WBO interim titleist)
When the fight was made, I always thought Eubank was too big and was welterweight against middleweight. He felt he was too big and too strong.
Is his weight starting to hurt him, is he a little older and his best days behind him? I don’t know. So that made me ask a little question, but I still think Eubank is a little too big and too strong, perhaps too good for him.
Tyler Denny (former European champion)
I’m going to Eubank. Isn’t he a big man? Connor Ben has some good names on his record, but many of them have passed. I think Eubank will win, but I think most of the countries want to win, and they want to win Eubank. Ben is sure he doesn’t mind what everyone thinks about whether he is a villain or not.

Adam Azim (Undefeated Ultra Lightweight)
I’m a huge fan of fighting. I love fighting. I’m going to Connor Ben. I think Connor Ben will knock him out.
I feel Connor will knock him out. He is very switched for this fight. Eubank, I feel like the weight does him, he will probably struggle for the weight.
Connor hits with both hands very hard.
Sky Sports’ Johnny Nelson explains how the small ring affects the Skybox office battle between Chris Eubank JR and Connorben
Johnny Nelson (former world champion)
I first thought of Eubank as Eubank is consistent in his career. Then I saw his final fight, and it wasn’t that great, and if Connor had fought him the last time and boxed him how Connor would fight, then Connor would have done him. I’m skiing to choose Connor.
You give Ubank enough space to breathe. I’m going to put my neck on the line, it’s tight, I glide towards Connor.
Barry Jones (former world champion)
I’ll go with Chris Eubank’s stop in the final third of the fight. This is what I think Connor Ben has to start his attack. Customers in Rounds 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 may begin to run in later rounds.
Conor Ben and Chris Eubank Jr. showed off their quick hands when hitting the pads in their media workout before their big fight
Liam Smith (former world champion)
I think I’ll go with Eubank on the point. It’s probably too big and makes it a bit troublesome. He holds Connor and I think size will play a big role early on.
Anthony Yard (World Title Challenger)
Hopefully it’s a controversial draw! I hope both men leave the ring given a good explanation of themselves.
Fraser Clark (Olympic medalist)
I think there’s a very simple game plan for Connarben. He’ll be offensive, he’ll be throwing lots of shots. Has Eubank got the right timing, does he absolutely have it? Does he put together the shots well? He definitely does. But I think Connor Ben is very aggressive early on, and might nick some of the early rounds. I think it’s a very close fight, I got it with Eubank points.
Nigel Ben gives more insight into Connor Ben’s sparring and why he thinks his son will win in the first four rounds
George Groves (former world champion)
Logically, Eubank should win, he is naturally a big guy and he is more experienced.
This fight is what it’s getting bigger, so who is trying to hold their nerves. I’ve already seen a lot of mind games. There are a lot to play.
Joe Cordina (former world champion)
I think Ben will win within six. He’s going to come out and put it on him. I think he’ll come in and leave.
Callum Simpson (British champion)
I would have to go to Eubank at the point. At first I thought I would be Connor Ben, but Eubank’s experience, the level he has already fought, the difference in activity, size and weight, I think the bettor must go to eubank at points. However, Connor looks good, his fierceness, his tenacity. So we’ll see.
Matthew McClin evaluates where Chris Eubank Jr. and Connor Ben’s fight can win when they finally meet in the ring on Saturday
Barry McGuigan (Boxing Legend)
It’s a very balanced battle. I think Ben can win it early, but if it goes beyond the middle stage, he has to make Eubank a strong favorite. That’s that type of battle.
Paddy Considine (Filmstar)
I’m going to win to choose Eubank, he’s a bigger fighter and I think he has the tools to do it, and he has more experience as well as some world-class fighters.
Kell Brook (former world champion)
My personal prediction in this battle is Eubank to win. I just think he’s size and he’s on a better level. In the early rounds there are firecrackers. So don’t blink in this fight.
George Groves says Connor Ben hasn’t fought at the same level as his opponent Chris Eubank JNR – and believes Saturday’s fight is a big step for him
Franhennessy (unbeaten outlook)
When the fight was first announced, I was framed by Eubank for size, experience, and things like that. Something is telling me Ben now. I think he’s explosive. I think his training camp was very good because of that sound. I think everyone underestimates him a bit.
If I had to edge at this moment, maybe Ben.
Lee Cutler (former English Champion)
Calling is a difficult battle. You’d think Eubank would get it in size. I think it’s Eubank.
You never know because Ben’s young, hungry. Boxing is one sport where one punch can change everything. It’s a really hard battle to predict at this stage of Chris Eubank Jr.’s career. Ben hasn’t even been a solid, competitive battle for some time. That could also be a factor.
Chris Eubank vs Conor Benn will be performing live at Sky Sports Box Office on Saturday, April 26th. Book now!
