Pack your tin foil hat and UFO tools… NFL agent Lee Steinberg tells TMZ Sports the conspiracy theory that the owner who blacked out Shedale Sanders in last weekend’s draft is “nonsense.”
Former university. Of course, most of the Colorado Signal’s appeal was expected to be a first round pick… but it rolled all the way to the fifth round on Saturday.
But Steinberg said this week there was no way it actually happened.
“The team wants to add to the roster players who give them the chance to win,” he explained. “And the desire to overrun the best players with other conspiracy theories. The team drafts players with great talent on the field. He couldn’t find a match in the process.”
Instead, Steinberg, an agent of Patrick Mahomes, said if people want to point their fingers somewhere… they should start with the pre-draft process of Chedur.
Steinberg said he believes he hasn’t thrown a combine and not fully prepared for an interview with the general manager is a big reason for his slide.
He also said that the QB’s 13-12 record in the big shadows of Buffalo and his famous father probably played a role.

Nevertheless, Steinberg told us that everything could be “really good” for the younger Sanders career – he doesn’t point out the pressure of a 23-year-old to start right away.
“He can still be the dominant player,” Steinberg said.
