Kelsey Grammer provided shocking details of his sister’s final moments before she was murdered…talking about the abuse she suffered before she was stabbed and died – crying as she read a book he wrote about her.
The famous TV actor revealed about his sister’s murder during an interview with ABC News. He promotes his new book, Karen: Brothers’ Memory. This is a memoir that focuses on living his sister’s memories and telling her story more than how she died.
View the clip herself… Glamour tells Diane Sawyer that after her sister was accused, she was taken to a nearby house in 1975, where the man who grabbed her raped her.
The glamour then reads from his book…and he overcomes the emotions while trying to make it through words – before diving into the way he recently returned to Colorado to revisit the places associated with her murder.
Kelsey says he hopes the book will help Karen’s memories stay alive, and he will allow others who have experienced similar tragedy to heal.
Karen was accused at the age of 18 by several men who robbed the restaurant where she worked.
A man named Freddie Glen was arrested and later convicted of murder. He is serving a life sentence…and Kelsey says he intends to oppose his parole every time it appears, just like he has in the past.
Kelsey admitted in another interview with people that her sister’s loss led him to drugs and alcohol. He was arrested multiple times between 1988 and 1996, during his fame in “Cheers” and subsequently in “Frasier,” driving under the influence of drunk driving and possession of cocaine. He’s only been plain.
“Karen: I Remember the Brothers” will appear on May 6th.
