Karen remains positive during a retrial of murder…Chat, taking photos with wealthy people

Karen Reed appears to be walking around her retrial for the murder… after appearing in court recently, she appears to be relaxing – chatting with strangers with a drink.
TMZ got a photo of Read at Savr, a bistro in Boston’s Seaport area.
Witnesses say they’ve read it with her legal team, including Powerhouse defense attorney Alan Jackson.
The group joined by Boston radio personality Greg Hill, was there for about an hour and a half…and Karen had one or two espresso martinis – having a bit of something to unleash what had to be a difficult few weeks for her.
She is said to have done nothing violent. Several groups approached her and asked for photos along with her and her lawyer.
KR chatted with people from outside the group, our sources say…and overall, she seems to be in a bright mood.
You know… Karen is charged with two-degree murder, vehicle manslaughter, driving under influence, leaving the scene of the collision, causing death after prosecutors claimed he ran Boston police officer John O’Keefe.
Reid’s lawyers were fired for claiming she was the victim of law enforcement officers who claimed she defeated O’Keefe in the party and kicked him out in the snow where he died.
She was tried last summer… ju judges voted in favor of acquittal on both charges of murder for the second time and accusations of leaving the accident scene where she was injured and killed. They won 9-3 votes in favor of a conviction on the vehicle manslaughter.

Reed’s lead to legal trial has already brought some explosive moments… including where Kelly Roberts actually admitted to Karen Reed that he had never actually heard the three women ask O’Keefe to search for Google just before O’Keefe died.
The trial is still moving forward…but Karen seems to be doing her best to stay positive in the face of all the stress.
