After 20 years of relationship with the famous English side, Alexander Arnold leaves the club at the end of the season in search of new challenges.
Trent Alexander Arnold announced he will leave Liverpool at the end of the season in 20 years with the club.
Alexander Arnold, who just won the Liverpool and the second Premier League title, did not mention his next destination when he confirmed his departure from Anfield on his social media account on Monday.
He said it was “the most difficult decision I’ve ever made in my life.”
“This club has been my whole life for 20 years – my whole world,” writes 26-year-old Alexander Arnold. “The support and love I felt from everyone inside and outside the club from the academy ever stays with me.
“But I knew nothing else. This decision is to go through new challenges, get out of my comfort zone and push myself professionally and personally. I gave this club everything I could ever do.
Mohamed Salah and Virgil Van Dijk recently signed a new two-year deal with Liverpool, but there was lingering uncertainty about the future of Alexander Arnold, who was also signed on the end of this season.
“I know I’m wondering if I haven’t talked about this yet or if I’m frustrated,” he writes. [league title] No. 20. ”

Alexander Arnold has earned all the major honors at Merseyside Club, including the 2020 Premier League and again this year the Champions League.
He was key to revolutionizing the right rear role with Alexander Arnold being Liverpool’s most creative player, his ability to run down the right and select a pass to the team’s attacker, and Alexander Arnold was sometimes Liverpool’s most creative player.
“From my heart, my coach, my manager, my teammates, my staff and our incredible supporters — thank you all for the past 20 years,” writes Alexander Arnold.
“I have been blessed enough to survive my dreams here, and I will never be given any special moment for which I was lucky enough to be able to live with all of you. My love for this club will never die.”
If he went to Madrid, it was a free transfer and he followed in the footsteps of Steve McMannaman, Michael Owen, Zabi Alonso and traded Anfield for the Santiago Bernabeu. That means he will join his England teammate Jude Bellingham in Madrid.
