Nigerian officials said the new digital platform is designed to streamline the application and processing of citizenship.
The Ministry of Interiors has announced the launch of a new online citizenship and business management platform.
This was included in a statement from Magdalene Ajani, the permanent secretary of the ministry in Abuja on Friday.
Mrs. Ajani said the new digital platform is designed to streamline the application and processing of citizenship and business-related services, and to ensure faster turnaround times and improved user experience.
Nigeria News Agency (NAN) reports that the platform is intended to manage citizenship applications, process business permits, and control regulations related to businesses and foreign workers.
The permanent secretary further explained that the initiative was part of the ministry’s ongoing reforms aimed at promoting transparency and increasing operational efficiency, thereby significantly improving service delivery to the public.
