Mrs. Mus Jatu Ruhr, Liberian Ambassador to Ghana, has urged international institutions to invest in the Liberian economy as the country’s political and economic stability is an attractive factor for global investment.
She said that private sector investment is a major sector that is open to government cooperation, so investors should use these terms to maximize returns.
In a speech at the opening ceremony of the Liberian Investment Conference in Accra, Mrs. Ruhr, whose theme was “unlocking the potential for investment in Liberia for sustainable economic growth,” emphasized the Liberian economy offering great opportunities for agriculture, infrastructure, renewable energy, transportation and digital transformation.
She said Liberia is one of the countries that offers a favorable economic environment for potential investors, and has natural resources, including gold and diamonds, with potential investments.
