Jacky Jhaj is registered on the sex offender register and is currently in pretrial custody in France
The BBC understands that the British pedophile indicted in connection with organizing a “mock wedding” for a child at Disneyland Paris is Jackie Jazzy, who was found guilty of two 15-year-old sexual activity in 2016.
Jhaj, 39, was charged in connection with holding a fake ceremony on Saturday due to the 9-year-old Ukrainian girl’s character as his bride.
He was arrested on Saturday morning when police were called by an actor who said he was hired by Jaji to play the bride’s father.
The BBC previously investigated how Jhaj hires hundreds of children to act as fawn fans at the fake film premiere held in Leicester Square, London in 2023.
Some of the children employed by the casting agency were about six years younger.
The teenage girls told the BBC they were asked to scream for him and try to touch him.

Then last June, Jhaj was seen giving gifts to the kids outside a dance audition for another production. He was recognized by parents for seeing the BBC article.
Two months later, following further investigation by the BBC, Jhaj was filmed pose naked in front of a raucous BBC news track in flapping London.
Approximately 100 French extras were recruited to participate for a mock wedding at Disneyland Paris, filmed by Jhaj’s team.
The BBC understands that he appeared before a judge in Mee northeast of Paris on Monday and was charged with fraud, violation of trust, money laundering, identity theft and in pretrial detention.
The preliminary findings also said that, according to French prosecutors, he was professionally constructed so that his face looked completely different from his own.”
Following the BBC investigation, Jhaj was filmed naked in front of a fake BBC news truck.
Jhaj has been on the sex offender register since 2016 and has spent time in prison. He is subject to restrictions on his freedom under the conditions of a sexual harm prevention order.
Since his release from prison, he has repeatedly staged productions that include children and young people.
BBC News can reveal that several videos from these productions have been uploaded to styled YouTube accounts as the channels of official performers.
The account has received over 6 million views and has over 12 million subscribers.
The video on another channel included secretly filmed footage of one of the 15-year-old victims convicted of sexual exploitation.
Her family told the BBC that Jhaj had “destroyed” her life and said it was unacceptable that YouTube allowed the video to be viewed for entertainment for four years.
The Productions video remained on YouTube until September last year, when the BBC warned Google, which owns the platform.
We told the BBC back then that it took users’ safety seriously but didn’t explain what the 12 million subscribers looked like to an account featuring unsuccessful men, or why the video wasn’t removed.
For the past two years, the BBC has spoken with videographers, production assistants and technicians who worked on several events before discovering Jhaj’s true identity.
Their records show that the cost of hiring a cast or venue is hundreds of thousands of pounds.
The cost of hiring an area in front of an Odeon film in London’s Leicester Square has now reached tens of thousands of pounds, hosting a major premiere of Hollywood.
Parental handouts
Jhaj was filmed in 2024 by parents who recognized him from a BBC survey talking to young people outside of dance auditions
French outlet BFMTV reported that fake weddings at Disneyland could have cost organizers of more than 130,000 euros (£110,000).
It remains unclear how these elaborate productions were funded.
French prosecutors said the Ukrainian girl had arrived in France two days before the Disneyland event, but was “forced to play the role” of the bride, not a victim of physical or sexual violence.
A statement from the prosecutor also said Disneyland Paris was “deceived” and that organizers used fake Latvian IDs to hire fakes. Disneyland Paris is available for rental by the public outside of business hours.
In a statement, the UK metropolitan police said:
“The 39-year-old man is being asked by Met police to violate a sexual hazard prevention order and a violation of the Sexual Offender Registration Notification Requirement.
“We know that a man arrested in France on other matters has been arrested in France for contact with French authorities.”
