Florida State University victims have been identified as shooting killed on campus

Two casualties have been identified who were killed in a mass shooting at Florida State University… one was a foodservice executive and the other worked in a cafeteria.

Robert Morales worked as a diet coordinator at FSU… His older brother, Ricardo Morales Jr., identified him as one of the victims of the shooting in a sincere social media post.
We lost our brother. He was one of the victims killed at FSU. He loved his work at FSU and his beautiful wife and daughter. I’m glad you were in my life. ❤❤️

The other deceased victim was identified as Til Chava… He is the father of two from South Carolina and was on campus during mass shootings Thursday.

Morales’ brothers say that Robert loved his wife and daughter and loved his job at FSU. According to reports, Robert started a Cuban restaurant in Tallahassee. Here we had the FSU campus and was an assistant coach at nearby Leon High School.

The lawyer for Chaba’s family said NBC Miami said, “Instead of visiting with friends and family in hiding Easter eggs, they live a nightmare where this loving father and devoted husband were stolen from them in a meaningless and preventable act of violence.”

Officers say five other shooting victims are hospitalized, including those in serious condition.
Police also say they have identified the suspect in the shooting… Phoenix Echner, a 20-year-old FSU student, is a deputy officer with the Leon County Sheriff. He is also undergoing treatment at the hospital.
