President Michael Neal is surged in demand with the old style of homeowners tracking interest rates and plan upgrades and making a comeback in the design circle.
Philadelphia, PA / Access Newswire / March 18, 2025 / AAA distributors and surplus building materials executives attended the annual Kitchen & Bath Industry Show (KBIS) in Las Vegas, a leading North American home improvement trade show, providing insights into economic and design trends with meetings with industry vendors and designers.

AAA Distributor is one of the nation’s largest distributors, wholesalers and retailers of home improvement products. With its Philadelphia-headquartered in Spokane, a warehouse in Spokane and a surplus building materials branch in Dallas, AAA distributors maintain one of the industry’s most extensive inventory of floor, kitchen and bath modification products.
The KBIS event, held in collaboration with the National Kitchen & Bath Association, attracted 40,000 attendees and featured over 250 exhibitors of the latest trends in innovative products, groundbreaking designs and kitchen and bath remodeling. Michael Neil, president of AAA distributors, and managers Jeniyateplutskaya and Ulyanaschnauderman met with vendors to investigate emerging trends in home improvement.
“The outlook is that there is a pent-up request that has not been looked after before the election,” Neal said. “There are a lot of people who need to remodel their homes right now.”
Homeowners are divided into two groups with incentives to upgrade, and Neil states: “We have a large generation that wants to upgrade and sell our homes. We also have another group that we want to upgrade because we don’t want to move because we have an interest rate of 2.5-3% and we don’t sell $400,000 homes so we don’t want to move.”
Neil said he continues to see demand from homeowners still repairing their homes after a series of tragic natural disasters in 2024, particularly the Florida hurricane, North Carolina floods and California wildfires.
The AAA distributor team has identified six key design trends for 2025 as homeowners plan and implement renovation and improvement projects.
Featuring warm natural wood tones for kitchen and bathroom cabinets, the mid-century modern style makes a big comeback.
Large tiles on kitchen floors and walls that make your room look bigger are hot trends.
“Hidden Kitchen” design is a popular choice for 2025.
The designers employ artistic and creative bathroom tile applications.
Functional bathroom natural wood cabinets such as built-in linen hampers and laundry chutes are a new development.
The luxurious finishes of faucets, mirrors, hardware, arches, ovals and curves are timeless and are popular in 2025.
The AAA distributor team is pleased to join KISA and build bonds with current and new vendors, gaining insight into industry news and trends. As a leading provider of kitchen and bath products for both professionals and do-it-yourself, AAA distributors continue to monitor industry development to better serve their customers.
