Actor David Howard Thornton says he can’t tell fans whether he likes to play Art the Clown.
We recently caught up with the Los Angeles actor…and we had to ask if he enjoyed playing killer clowns in the “Terrifier” movie or if he enjoyed more of the devastated rats in “Screamboat.”
DHT says he can’t choose between the two…and the person next to him suggests that he can answer the question, but he has to kill the photographer – and David agrees immediately.
Thornton killed quite a few people on screen… so we thought it would be better than pushing him onto this – instead, asking how the audience was receiving the flick. He says it’s getting a lot of laughs. This is a bit shocking to hear about the film in which anthropomorphized rats cut off and kill a group of ferry passengers.

Ask for yourself if there’s a sequel to be teased in the film’s post-credits scene… ask for yourself – it’s up to the audience.
If you don’t know… The film, filmed on Colin Jost and Pete Davidson’s Staten Island Ferry, is based on the Walt Disney classic 1928 cartoon steamship Willie character. This IP entered into the public domain after copyright failed in 2024 on this particular character’s iteration.

Tyler Posey – the former Disney star himself – plays a role in the film…and he assured his fans that he won’t ruin the iconic characters for them.
More Disney characters’ copyrights are coming to an end…and Thornton always seems ready to go into the costume and leave!
