Michael Pitt was ordered to leave his ex-girlfriend… after being arrested on charges of sexual abuse.
A law enforcement source told TMZ… Pitt was ordered by a New York judge to avoid his previous partner for a year.
It is said that Pitt must avoid her home, work, or where she physically goes…and he also cannot use texts, phones, emails – to get in touch with her.
As you know… Pitt was arrested last week in connection with four cases in which prosecutors allegedly dropped between April 2020 and August 2021.
According to the indictment… Pitt is allegedly sexually assaulting his then-girlfriend earlier, prosecutors say he hit her with a wooden plank. They also claim that Pitt attacked him on another occasion with Cinderblock.
The actor was best known for playing Jimmy Dalmody in “The Boardwalk Empire,” but was charged with sexual motivation, sexual motivation, sexual abuse, and assault injuries with weapons with forced strength. Pitt pleaded not guilty to all charges against him. He posted $100,000 bail and was released from custody.
Pitt’s lawyer Jason Goldman told us… “Unfortunately, we live in a world where people like Mr. Pitt, a skilled expert who has no pondering these crimes, can be arrested for the silent words of an indifferent individual.
“In fact, this unfounded claim is brought suspiciously about four to five years after the alleged incident, at a time when the two parties were in a completely voluntary relationship with the agreement. This case will be dismissed.”
