There are no jump men or swoosh in the future of Alija Arenas… The son of the high school basketball star at Gilbert Arena tells TMZ Sports that he has signed a contract with Adidas!!
A McDonald’s national said he plans to follow in his father’s footsteps at LAX this week and sign a approval agreement with three stripes.
There is no word yet on what the financial figures of the agreement will turn out…but Adidas has given Gilbert over the years about his signature shoe rights. So I’m sure Aliya’s pocket will go deeper as he is ready to start a college hoop career.
Of course, the 18-year-old looks worthy of the Penny Adidas Dress… because he has undoubtedly grown into the country’s best high school baller in the last few years.

In fact, he was one of the top scorers at McDonald’s All-Star Showcase this week…scoring 11 points.

Alija says he is very excited to wear the USC Trojan uniform soon…and he clearly hopes that he will be in the NBA hardwoods soon after.
