Sydney falls asleep until Sunday before the cold front brings relief

Sydney stares at its hottest March barrels as it shakes the heatwaves of the weekend, but it is expected that the cold front desk cleaning up southern Australia will bring relief later Sunday.

Heat settled in southeastern Australia on Saturday, with hot temperatures in Seduna, South Australia, and over 42C in other parts of the state.

Victoria peaked above 40c, with mercury reaching 35c in Melbourne. Furthermore, temperatures in western Sydney skyrocketed to about 39c, causing a very warm night.

The Meteorological Bureau says it’s hotter, whether there’s a way to say New South Wales can expect to see a maximum temperature above average of 6c-12c until high temperatures break with advanced meteorology.

This means that temperatures can spike inland from mid-30 seconds to high inland, even pushing 40°C through the western part of the state.

In Illawarra, Hunter and Sydney, temperatures reach high from the mid-30s, with temperatures reaching 37C in cities and 37C-38C in western Sydney.

It also warned of increased fire risks in parts of New South Wales, South Australia and Victoria.

Willing to consider participating in peacekeeping operations in Australia and Ukraine

Anthony Albanese told European allies he would consider contributing to Australians to future peacekeeping operations in Ukraine.

The Prime Minister listened to British Prime Minister Starmer and other European leaders overnight, where he committed to a “coalition of will” that continues to provide support to Ukraine with the aim of protecting Russia in Australia.

The Albanese described Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as “imperialism,” saying Australia was standing with Ukraine “as long as it is taking it.”

That’s right and is in Australia’s national interest. What happens in the Euro Atlantic is because it has serious implications for our region (Indo-Pacific) and vice versa.

This is not just the Ukrainian people and their national sovereignty, but also the struggle. This is a struggle for the international rule of law.

Putin’s administration has an imperialist design for Ukraine and beyond.

The prime minister said Australia has already won $1.5 billion and is helping Ukraine prevent itself, including $1.3 billion in military assistance, including equipment and training.

“All-Wish Alliance” is a throwback to the collection of businesses that George Bush organized to promote an Iraqi invasion.

good morning

Royce Kurmelovs

Welcome to another Sunday morning Guardian Live Blog.

Anthony Albanese told British Prime Minister Kiel Starmer that Australia will consider taking part in future peacekeeping operations in Ukraine as part of a “coalition of will.” Albanese repeatedly made Australia’s support for Ukraine in the defense of Russia and made a pledge overnight at a virtual meeting.

Sydney has a strong day on a very hot day after a warm night, but the weather department says that cool changes are ongoing. A cold front will clean up parts of South Australia and Victoria overnight, and are expected to bring relief to the Sydney area later on Sunday.

I’m Royce Kurmelovs. I blog all day long.

So let’s get started…
