Filmed at a previous hearing, Bella Curry appeared at Tbilisi Municipal Court
A British teenager who was tried for drug smuggling charges in Georgia told the court he hopes to “see my story through my eyes.”
Bella Culley, 19, from Billingham, Teesside, previously appeared at the city of Tbilisi courthouse, saying, “I didn’t think that would happen to me.”
Miss Curry could face up to 20 years in prison or life sentence if convicted.
During a court session that lasted only 30 minutes, she traded her normal looks and smile with her mother, Lyanne Kennedy.
The teenager is pregnant, and recently undergoes medical examinations, and his mother has become emotional in court after learning the sex of the fetus.
Prosecutors repeatedly filed charges against Miss Curry.
Reading from a piece of paper, he detailed the amount of illegal drugs found in her suitcase.
Afterwards, Curry’s lawyer was given a bed.
He said there was no evidence that she intended to break the law.
“There were people who unconsciously made my clients commit this,” he said.
Miss Curry concluded by saying, “Madrova.”
The next court hearing is expected to take place in September unless a plea agreement can be reached previously.
“See you tomorrow, I love you,” Kennedy said.
Her daughter will remain in prison until then.

Bella Curry was taken into custody at prison number 5 while awaiting her trial.
Miss Curry was first missing in Thailand and was arrested on May 10th at Tbilisi International Airport.
She was in custody 61 days before the hearing, but prosecutors investigated where 12kg (26 pounds) of marijuana and 2kg (4.4 pounds) of hashish were found in a travel bag and whether she was planning to hand it over to someone else.
Miss Curry previously claimed that she was “forced by torture.”
“I just wanted to travel,” she said. “I’m a good person. I’m a university student. I’m a pretty person. I don’t take drugs.”
Georgian police said officers seized drugs marijuana and hashish in travel bags at Tbilisi International Airport.
It is understood that Miss Curry arrived in Tbilisi on a flight from Sharjah, United Arab Emirates on May 10th.
The BBC is said to advise the British embassy to teenage families not to talk to the press.
