Ben Youngs announced he will retire from professional rugby at the end of the season.
The 35-year-old Scrum Half made 332 senior appearances for the Leicester Tigers in a Bristol Bears’ Easter Sunday victory.
England’s most capped male player with 127 caps, Youngs appeared in Australia on four Rugby World Cups (2011, 2015, 2019, 2023) and the 2013 British & Irish Lions Tour, winning five times and running three times.
“It’ll come when I’ll be grateful to everyone who helped me achieve what I have, but that’s when it’s time for me to end,” Youngs said.
“For now, it’s about finishing this chapter of my life with a little more success. It’s not finished yet.”
