Sam Ruddock was last heard on April 16th
Friends and family members of the British Paralympian who went missing in Las Vegas are suing him by helping him find him.
Warwickshire rugby native Sam Luddock competed in shot put, cycling and sprints, traveled to the US to watch WrestleMania events, and was last asked on April 16th.
His close friend Lucy Hutton said his loss of disappearance was “really, really out of character,” but recently he was “not in pretty correct headspace.”
She said that Las Vegas police knows and treats him as a missing person.
Hutton said her friend, who has cerebral palsy, is a “great person” who enjoyed going to school to “inspire the next generation.”
She said she drove him to the airport on April 13th and knew he was staying at a hostel in Las Vegas before a major wrestling event.
Ruddock was “very active on social media,” she said, so when all contact stopped on April 16, she said, “we started raising the flag.”
His mother, Fran Ruddock, from Lincoln, usually spoke to her every day and said he was usually “very sociable.”
She asked anyone who might know him in the UK or the US to contact them to see if they had any information.
“Anything to connect the gap,” she said.

Sam Luddock competed in the UK in cycling, sprinting and track and field.
With her mother, Hutton warned British police and said he filed a lawsuit with US police and Interpol.
She also spoke to the hostel where he was staying and said that he was told he had not checked out but that his property was left in his room.
The UK cycling said it understands that it has been reported missing by US and UK police.
“Anyone who has been in touch with Sam since April 16 may have information about his whereabouts to contact his local police station as soon as possible,” a spokesperson added.
Lincolnshire police confirmed there was an aggressive investigation into missing persons.
