Cameron Nolly’s run at the Indian Wells ended in the third round, serving as a 6-3, 7-5 loss to American 10th seed Tommy Paul.
Norri won the prestigious event in 2021 and reached the quarterfinals over the next two years, but now coincides with the final 32 exit 12 months ago, after dropping in straight sets.
The loss of British No 2 was sealed in double fault – that third game as Paul secured the final 16 encounter with fifth seed Danil Medvedyev.

Draper Sole Brit remained in the men’s single
British No. 2 No. 2 No. NEW – defeating Luca Nardi and 23rd seed Giri Lehecca – broke three times in Paul’s first set, 4-2 and focused on 4-4 before moving up 0-30 with the opponent’s serve.
Paul fought back from that predicament and slammed into the 12th game of the second set after Nolly’s serving error.
Nolly’s defeat means Jack Draper is the only britt remaining in the men’s singles after Jacob Fianley was eliminated in round one after the loss of Jacob Fianley to Draper by Brazilian teenager Joa Fonseca.
