Christina Applegate’s dad has passed away…and she gets emotional while sharing the news – a full-on bait in a recent podcast episode.
The actress sat for a conversation with Jamie Lynn Sigler on a “muscular” podcast… Guest Joanna Garcia Swisher reported that she was screaming for her eyes as she passed away about a week before her father, Robert Applegate, was recorded.
Listen to the clip… Christina says the appearance of this podcast is the first time she has ever really cried after her father’s death.
She said, “I knew he was going to die. Is that an excuse for not feeling well? Because you said goodbye because you know someone was going.”
Swisher shared her experiences with losing her parents… After they passed away, she said she felt “unrelated” and admitted that she had to make the difficult choices to support them.
Christina deals with her health issues… You know, she was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis a few years ago.

She talked about multiple brain lesions, numerous hospitalizations due to vomiting and diarrhea, and depression she has dealt with for years since her diagnosis.
Christina’s father was involved in the music industry… he worked as a producer for DOT Records when Applegate was born in the early 1970s.
