Shooting game McGavin ‘Happy Gilmore2’ is “It’s going to be amazing!!”

Good news for anyone wanting to beat the putters of the Boston Bruins jersey and hockey stick putter this summer… Christopher McDonald – the man who played the shooter game McGovern in “Happy Gilmore” – tells TMZ Sports that the sequel to Adam Sandler’s golf flick will be rock.
“Happy Gilmore 2” is scheduled to drop on Netflix on July 25th… and when he caught up with McDonald at Lax this week, he said, “It’s going to be great.”

The 70-year-old, who changed the role of a film shooter, didn’t want to reveal much about the film.
The film appears to follow Sandler’s Gilmore character. Decades after he defeated McGovern in the Tour Championship…and based on some of the previews he dropped, it appears that Sandler and McDonald will update their on-screen rivalry for Part II.
They interact with many celebrities along the way – John Daly and music superstar Bad Bunny are there… so are Bryson Deccanbeau and Rory McIlroy. Of course, Travis Kelce will also be taking part.
