CNN has vehemently denied claims by Diddy’s legal team that the cable news network changed footage of him beating Cathy in a hotel hallway, destroying the only known copy of the video.
A CNN spokesperson tells TMZ … “CNN never changed the video and did not destroy the original copy of the footage held by the source. CNN aired the story about the video several months before Combs was arrested.”

We broke the story…Diddy’s defense team claimed Thursday in new court documents that they had purchased a video showing CNN attacking Kathy in the hallways of the InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles.
Diddy’s camp claims that CNN took the only known copy of the hotel’s surveillance footage and uploaded it to free editing software. I changed the video and then destroyed the original footage.
But CNN says Diddy’s lawyers are all wrong.
The Cassie Beating video was announced in May 2024, months before the Fed arrested Diddy…and after the footage was released on CNN, Diddy posted an apology video.

In an apology for the selfie video, Diddy looked up the camera and said, “It’s very difficult to look back at the darkest times of your life, but sometimes you have to do it.
We contacted Didi’s legal team for comments… so far, there are no words.
