For Damon Wayans, not even his nephew’s ex-girlfriend – nothing, as he openly admits he fell in love with her…and years later, he’s not a shame about it!
On Shannon Sharpe’s “Club Shay Shay” podcast, the host set the rules – no family exe… But Damon didn’t care much, saying his nephew never fell in love with an unknown woman, but he definitely did.
Damon Wayans said he met a woman in 2001 after his divorce from Lisa Thorner. At first glance, I learned that she had been on a date with his nephew.
He spoke to his nephew before jumping into something serious with the woman. And he’s like, “That’s you.” And I said, “Okay, hand over the Courboaiwa and let’s go!” And I went ahead, I fell in love, and it was okay! ”
Still, it brought some fallout to family dynamics – Damon explained that group gatherings are annoying at best… and it would definitely be interesting to be a fly on that wall!
