Danny McBride Peta threatens to send “monkey poop”… If a real monkey appears in the “correct jewel”

Danny McBride may literally be looking for a crappy surprise by using the apparent use of real monkeys in his hit show The Righteous Gemstones.
PETA tells TMZ… The organization is threatening to send out the McBride Fake Monkey Poop after finding what it claims to be the real Capuchin Monkey in the show trailer.
PETA claims he was firing emails at HBO executives demanding primates from McBride officials and HBO executives, promising that he will never use wild animals again in production…
Now, animal rights groups say they’re watching upcoming episodes on Sunday – and if a living monkey appears, this fake mountain of Doodoo will appear at the front door of McBride’s production company.
“Danny McBride has all the advanced skills at his fingertips, but he chose to further exploit the suffering monkeys that should be in the rainforest rather than in television,” said Debbie Metzler, senior director of Peta’s prisoner of war wildlife.
The organization is urging viewers to boycott the “shameful show” in protest and to call on McBride to reevaluate his “silly” choices.
