Diddy wants a black woman in his corner when the federal trial begins less than three weeks, so he is looking for a new lawyer to add to his defense team.
Sources with direct knowledge have TMZ… Diddy’s lawyers are looking for a black female lawyer to join Marc Agnifilo and Teny Geragos’ current trial team.
Keep in mind that the big-name lawyer has already raised races as an important part of its defense… accusing the Fed of trying to beat rich, successful black men.
Both Mark and Tenny are white, which may be why Diddy is trying to diversify his counselor panels, but this new addition is not just for appearance, but the new lawyer should have a legitimate chop to tackle what he believes is a case he fought hard.

Our sources say that strong lawyer Mark Jelagos plays an important role in Diddy’s case. Regardless of who else finds to join his personal dream team, we are said to be Mark and Tenny as the lead counselors.
As we reported, one member of his team, Anthony Ricco (black), jumped over the ship in February.
Diddy’s attempt to find a black woman to represent him effectively comes in the 11th hour. The selection of ju judges in the federal trial is scheduled for May 5th, with an opening statement coming out a week later, but Mark and Tenney have asked the judge to advance at least two weeks of start.
