The 26-year-old filmmaker has the bones to choose with Maria Obama… It appears that her original eldest daughter claimed that she used one of her works as an inspiration for her new Nike ad.
Natalie Jasmine Harris released Monday by Obama and Nike to promote Hooper’s new signature shoes, Aja Wilson Vignette “shockingly similar” to NJH’s 2024 Sundance Film Festival flick “Grace.”

In Obama Wilson’s work, you can see a young girl teaching the WNBA superstar a version of “Miss Mary Mac” in front of the house. In “Grace,” the two characters sit on a small staircase leading to the main entrance of the house, so they play a similar game with their hands.
Harris revealed in a series of social media posts that he doesn’t think the visual image is a coincidence.
“I know that art often overlaps,” she wrote on page X, but “However, moments like this bumped violently when you told the story in your mind with care and you could barely get the recognition you deserve.”
“If your brand wants a certain look, why not hire from the source instead of name recognition?” she added.
Harris later went to Instagram to explain that the whole situation was “disappointing and disappointed.”
“I’m now an emerging filmmaker and constantly posting about how hard it is to maintain myself without profiting from family connections, generational wealth, or nepotism,” she said.
